thread and Canson Mi-Tientes endpapers. Each cover is 3
pieces of acrylic joined with paper edges. Eleven coins are
sandwiched between the acrylic layers. The acrylic was
prepared by Greg Young.

"I bound an edition of 300 copies of this book in 1989
(1/4 leather with paper sides). Each book was accompanied by
a set of eleven tokens (coins). This unique binding is an
experiment for me, quite a departure from my usual
traditional designs and materials."
