JOHN DEMERRITT and DOMINIC RILEY continued their television career on San Franciscos "Cable 54 City Watch presents `At the Public Library" program in April with an interview with Alistair Johnson and Frances Butler of Poltroon Press. The Poltroon Press exhibition at the SFPL, "Trance & Recalcitrance: The Private Voice in the Public Realm", was shown in Special Collections during April and May. Dominic and John also conducted a study group on Victorian Trade Bindings at the Library on April 15 sponsored by PCBA.
PETER VERHEYEN has been appointed to the position of Conservation Librarian in the Syracuse University Library effective July 1. While there he will be setting up a book conservation lab, training staff and working on outreach programs in addition tocompleting his MLS there. The latest issue of Art et Metiers du Livre, #190, March/April contains a six-page article on SÜN EVRARD and her work. Entitled "Sün Evrard: Nomade desprit", it begins with "Atypical, is how one must define the career of Sün Evrard". There is an English summary of the article on p.62. Süns one-woman exhibition opened May 4 in Paris. A review appears in this Newsletter.

ALEN THENEN and SHERELYN OGDEN were married in Boston in May. In wedded bliss they are now commuting between St. Paul and Boston, respectively, where they continue in their bookbinding and conservation careers.
