Marbler Katherine Radcliffe demonstrated oil and acrylic marbling techniques at the Dieu Donné Paper Mill (433 Broome St. NYC 10013) on September 21. Ms. Radcliffe will also be teaching a workshop there sometime in March, 1997. Inquire for dates or check the workshop calendar.
The Book Arts in NJ Conference was held at Rutgers University on November 8th. Iris Nevins demonstrated traditional watercolor marbling for several hours.
A new marbling book by Karli Frigge is now available. It may be purchased through Dawson's Bookshop in Los Angeles (213 469-2186). The book has twenty-four original samples of, experimental, never seen before marbling. Hand bound in leather, and limited to only 100 copies.
