This year, for the first time, the Guild was able to offer student scholarships for the Standards Seminar. Two students applied, Nancy Missbach and Annie Tremmel Wilcox, and they were awarded free lodging and payment of their Seminar fees for the Dallas Seminar. The Scholarship Fund was established with funds from some earlier Standards Seminars where expenses ended up being lower than anticipated. In addition, we wish to thank Norma Rubovits, who donated her already- paid Seminar fees to the Scholarship Fund when she found she would be unable to attend. We hope, in the future, to have more students taking advantage of the offer when it is announced.
