For the last three years the Guild has been given a sum of money for the Library by the New York Community Trust on the recommendation of Joan T. Batchelor of Washington, DC. This fund, now about $1000, is going to be used for the purchase of much needed new books for the Guild Library. Pamela Spitzmueller, Guild Librarian, will submit a list of desired books, which we will publish in a future issue of the Newsletter, in the hope that members may have copies they would be willing to donate to the Library. Those that cannot be obtained from donations will be purchased. It is time to pay attention to getting the Library caught up with the rest of the book world!
