FAIC Kress Conservation Publication Fellowships

The first three recipients of the Samuel H. Kress Conservation Publication Fellowships have been awarded to Maria Grandinette and Randy Silverman for Book Repair: A Guide to Library Conservation Techniques; Michele R. Derrick for Methods in the Scientific Examination of Works of Art: Infrared Spectroscopy; and Nancy Davis for General Conservation Assessments: A Review. Maria Grandinette, GBW member, is Preservation Officer at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University; Silverman is Preservation Librarian at the Marriott Library, University of Utah; Michele Derrick is Associate Scientist at the Getty Conservation Institute; and Nancy Davis is Head of the Conservation Department at the Rochester Museum and Science Center.
