This is a charming book about the landscape around Ann Arbor, Michigan, and the river in Ann Arbor inspired me in its design. It runs from the cut-out front cover to the back cover with creased leather. Lacunose (sanded leather) adds color like in nature.
Title hand tooled with different colored foils. Edge to edge doublures, green suede flyleaves. Top edge gilded and gauffered. Embroidered silk endbands. Leather. 7.5 x 8 x 1 inches. 19 x 20 x 2.4 centimeters. Created 2017.
