Gestural ink drawings of seagulls and relief monoprints of feathers printed on classic laid paper. Elongated format intended to drape like the bird in flight, side stitched with colored thread. Cover and box made of blended yellow-to-blue prints on Rives BFK paper.

LIZ JOHNSON has a 1967 BA degree from Colorado Women's College in Denver CO, with previous studies at the Corcoran School of Art, Washington DC, and Arizona State University, School of Architecture, in Tempe AZ. Exhibiting since 1968, she is an artist, graphic designer, and paper addict, with a current emphasis on papermaking, monoprinting, and artists' books. She teaches workshops at her Live Ink Press at Walking Stick Ranch in Colorado.
