Artist Books

Three accordion books explore the joy of flying: The Bird Book, The Bug Book, and If I Had Wings. Calligraphy in gouache, colored ink and pencil on pastepaper, with mixed media collage. Boards covered in gold, purple and green Japanese paper with applied, decorative elements.

MEG KENNEDY has worked in book publishing for 15 years as a publicist and copywriter. With a degree in creative writing, her love of books and calligraphy led to making artists' books and teaching the lettering arts. She has been appointed to the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts Roster of Artists in Education.
