The New England Chapter would like to offer all GBW members the opportunity to attend their upcoming event: Exploring the Tip of Maine.
With the help and the enthusiastic support of our bookmaking friends in Northern Maine we have organized a mini-conference in the far reaches of Maine for September 12-14. The cost of the program, excluding lodging, will be $120 for participants in the workshops and $70 for accompanying guests or spouses. This cost includes all meals from Friday evening until Sunday morning. Space is limited to 20 workshop participants but accompanying guests or spouses can also attend the tour, lectures, receptions, and meals. The conference site is located on Cobscook Bay and there will be activity opportunities for guests/spouses that are not doing the workshops. Local resident Alan Furth has kindly offered to take people to special places in the area. Campobello, Franklin D. Roosevelt's summer retreat, is close by for anyone who wants to combine a visit along with attending the conference.
