Into the Dream Maze

Into the Dream Maze is an artist's book about a landscape, reflecting the beauty of the high desert sands and canyons. Written in the haibun form of text punctuated by haiku, the beautiful watercolor imagery mirrors the place and its geography. This book is about how the formation of land through time inspires and teaches us. The cover design shows dancing figures as canyons in flight over the desert.

Goatskin, turquoise stone, gold leaf, goauche, paste paper. 10 x 8.25 x .5 inches. 25.3 x 21 x 1.3 centimeters. Created 2016.
