Moon & Water: A Dream of Ancient Chinese Poets
Moon & Water is a series of letterpress printed poems by ancient Chinese poets, sandwiched between two poems by contemporary authors. The intense visual images formed by the poetry found their way into the pen and ink drawings that illustrate several of the poems. A separate colophon, a list of translators, and an additional cross-spread drawing in the form of a stitched pamphlet, are found in a pocket at the end of the book.
Hand and mould-made paper. 8.375 x 4.875 x .375 inches. 21.2 x 12.4 x 1 centimeters. Created 2016.
