| Jonathan Tremblay

Jonathan Tremblay has a Bachelor’s degree from Sherbrooke University in electrical engineering and a degree in interior design. He has practiced bookbinding professionally for over twenty years. He perfected his skills through many courses taught by European master bookbinders. Since 1996, Tremblay has participated in many international exhibitions both in America and Europe. The workshop he leads is located in Quebec. He has served as President of the Board of Directors of Les Amis de la Reliure d'Art also known as The Friends of the Art of Bookbinding of Canada (Canada ARA) for 10 years. Recognized by his peers, Tremblay was awarded the “Golden Book” Award by the Estonian Association of Designer Bookbinders in Estonia. His work is held in the collection of the National Library and Archives of Quebec, as well as in private collections.

Full-leather binding, caribou coffee color. Decor done with mosaic inlay and mosaic raw-edge. Guard and flyleaf are encrusted suede, espresso color.
