leather title piece, which was gold tooled. Acrylic paint and gold foil tooling decorate the head. This edition was printed by Larkspur Press and is limited to
600 copies. It was signed by the author, Maureen Morehead, and the illustrator, Mary Lou Hess. 9 x 6.5 x 1 inches, 23 x 16.5 x 2.5 centimeters. Created 2009.
Marlyn Bonaventure began binding in the early 1990s, studying with Eleanore Ramsey in San Francisco and at the American Academy of Bookbinding in Telluride, Colorado.
She has further developed her binding through workshops led by numerous binders and continues to study with Tini Miura in Southern California. As a student and
former teacher of the arts, she incorporates the book as her format of self-expression and design. Her bindery work includes design binding, small edition binding,
book repair, and box making. Website at www.bonaventurebindery.com
